Open on Main 2018

The Downtown Memphis Commission’s OPEN ON MAIN Initiative is once again creating pop-up retail activation space at two locations in Downtown Memphis. The goal of OPEN ON MAIN is to enhance the pedestrian experience, support local makers/entrepreneurs/retailers and bring attention to properties for lease in the Downtown Core.

From May-October, the spaces at 100 Peabody Place, Suite 175 & 145 South Main Street, Suite 110. will be available, rent-free, for retail activation in increments of one month or longer.

100 Peabody Place, Suite 175

  • Approximately 1,700 square feet of retail space
  • Two store-front windows
  • Three awnings
  • Access to employee bathrooms
  • Located in Downtown Core, near the corner of
  • Peabody Place and Main St. and a trolley stop

145 South Main Street, Suite 110

  • 1,637 square feet retail space (first floor only)
  • Two large store-front windows
  • Access to employee bathrooms
  • Located in Downtown Core, near the corner of
  • Peabody Place and Main St. and a trolley stop

See the spaces during two Open House events

During the open house, we’ll have both spaces open for potential retail pop-up tenants to take a peek inside and ask DMC staff questions about the program.

  • Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Monday, April 9, 2018, from 4-6 p.m.
